How this book was built

This handbook is written in Quarto using Markdown and R. The online handbook is published as HTML, while the A4 edition is typeset with Typst. The print edition uses Libertinus Serif throughout. The source is developed openly on GitHub, and meaningful changes are recorded on the Updates page.

Rendering the handbook

Most students should use the published PDF. Students who want to build a local copy can install Quarto 1.9 or later and R. The rendering instructions in the source repository explain the remaining steps.
